The Food Assistance Program (FAP) is a program for anyone living 150% or below poverty. FAP will provide payments for food of $75 + $50 per person. Therefore a single person will receive up to $125 per month in FAP.

FAP will only cover for food that is considered as essential or with nutritional value. Therefore, FAP can not be used to buy candy or other sweets, nor could it be used to buy coffee. Essentially, if there is taxes on the food, then FAP will not cover the item.
