It would be HHS that will issue ID numbers, and authorization codes. It would be HHS that would provide for GBI, and Healthcare. It will be HHS that would provide for housing for low income households. All of these roles are under the purview of HHS.

Throughout this site, you would find the roles that HHS will serve. And since this is such an important branch, it is even given a very short telephone number to make it easier to reach HHS. It will be only when calling this number (711) where you would provide your GIN. There will also be a standard government number, but you should never give out your GIN when someone calls you, even if they displayed HHS’s website.
