Identification is important in any country. There must be a way to tell two people apart even if they have the exact same name. This is where the HHS identification programs will come into effect. There are 3 numbers – all of which will be explained in this section. The first is the GIN. This number is between HHS, and the citizen, and no one else should know the GIN. There is the GAON which helps authenticate the identity of the person so the citizen does not have to dislose their GIN. And last, there is the NIN which is a public number. It is also used in conjunction with the GAON when applying for new services.
ID Cards
ID cards are provided to every citizen as needed. There are 2 ID cards. There is the Health1 card which is provided to people (usually children) with a basic healthcare card. This card will have the patient’s name, NIN, and eye/hair color. Height is not noted since children grow. The Health1 card will have EMV and RFID capabilities which will allow the provider to access, and recognize the child’s healthcare plan. The Health1 card is also provided to foreigners that lives in Kaldus. A foreigner will need to pay for health care in the country as Health1 provides free healthcare to citizens only.
The next card is the photo ID card. This card will have the name, NIN, photo, eye color, and hair color. Unlike many ID cards, there will not be an address printed on the card. Law enforcement can get the address if they have physical possession of the card. This will be done by inserting the card into the EMV reader on the terminal. As with the Health1 card, all ID cards will have EMV and RFID capabilities.
