With the fact that the ID card has NFC enabled on it, it might stand to reason how should one carry their card without being skimmed with an NFC skimmer? The best way will be to use RFID blocking wallets/purses. You would insert your card into the appropriate pocket, and therefore, skimmers shouldn’t be able to read the information. When you need to make a purchase, you simply take your card out of the pocket, and use the card as you would normally do. Once the card is used, then you place it back in where it belongs. Since your ID card can carry many hats, it will likely be the only card you would carry. I personally use a Ridge Wallet which while expensive, does this job of RFID blocking as I tested it when I first acquired the wallet.
